Artist Buddy James of Malden works on a mural at The Metro Gallery that has opened in Historic Downtown Dexter. The mural will become a screen in the gallery. The business will feature the finest art and craft, including work from artisans who are members of The Best of Missouri Hands. Gallery owner Erin Brown says Best of Missouri Hands is a statewide organization dedicated to the development and recognition of Missouri's arts and artisans. The Metro Gallery will hold its official Grand Opening on Friday, March 19 from 6 - 9 p.m. The Gallery is located at the intersection of Walnut and Stoddard Streets.
